Why Snail Serum?
Snail mucin is the most iconic of Korean Beauty ingredients and has been popular in Korea for over 25 years. We wanted to create our snail serum version 8 years ago but we felt that North America audiences would not readily accept snail mucin as a beauty ingredient.
Today, as we continue to move toward effective but inflammatory concentrated correctives such as retinol, vitamin C concentrate and AHA/BHA exfoliants, we felt that we needed to introduce the ultiamte anti-inflammatory. Why 2% AHA/BHA Exfoliant?
We've received and answered hundreds of skin care consultation emails over the past few years. What became clear to us was that acne and acne scarring along with hyper-pigmentation were the 2 most popular subjects by a wide margin. For severe cases of acne and hyper-pigmentation, the first step of an effective treatment needs to be deep exfoliation.

Why 10% Niacinamide?
Niacinamide is considered one of the BIG 3 along with retinol and vitamin C. Its versatility and efficacy in treating pore size, skin brightening and skin tone improvement is legendary. Glutathione is both an antioxidant and peptide made up of 3 amino acids, cystine, glycine and glutamic acid. It regulates the melanin producing enzyme called Tyrosinase, meaning that it limits the production of our skin's pigment.
This directly helps reduce hyper-pigmentation. Stabilizing these two ingredients at high concentrations is exceedingly difficult. That is why Saranghae decided to take on this challenge. The result is the first ever 10% Niacinamide with 1% Glutathione.
