Question From Mercedes
MHi Saranghae,
Can I swim in the ocean with your sunscreen and how long will it last before I need to re-apply?
When should you reapply in general if you’re just walking around?
Thank you

Saranghae Recommendation
Hi Rose,
Our Saranghae Let’s Get Physical Sheer UV Defense SPF50 Sunscreen is water resistant up to 40 minutes, on the higher end of the water resistant spectrum. This rating is valid for ocean swimming or a swimming pool.
If you’re by the pool or beach, I recommend re-applying your sunscreen every 45 minutes to an hour, even if you’re not constantly in the water, just to be safe.
As a side note, if you’re swimming in the ocean, please be sure to apply sunscreen that is reef/ocean friendly. Our Saranghae SPF50 sunscreen with 100% non-nano zinc oxide is reef/ocean safe.
When you’re going about your day, the standard practice is reapplying every 2 to 3 hours. However, our sunscreen has shown very little drop off in UV filter performance in intense sunlight for up to 6 to 8 hours without re-application, so there’s a significant factor of safety. But I want to reiterate that re-application every 2 or 3 hours is recommended as a general rule thumb and standard practice.
I hope this helps and please don’t hesiste to reach out with additional questions.
Warmest regards
Maya Henderson
