Our philosophy is NOT to carry many products that serve the same customer need. Our head office is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Our warehouses are located in California, Pennsylvania and Florida. 95% of our business comes from the United States, 5% are spread over a dozen countries.
Since 2016, we have shipped over 500,000 orders and over 2.5 million products to 110,000 customers.

Our customers are mostly focused on anti-aging concerns and care greatly about results.
They care about minimizing visible signs of aging such wrinkles, age spots and other age related skin issues.
They want simplicity and they will try and stick to a skincare routine but will always look for ways to minimize the number of steps. If they can get away with one hero product they will.
In the beginning our customers were less price sensitive but have become much more so after the pandemic. Even so, they still value quality and efficacy over price.

Sarangahe was launched in August of 2016 by Peter B. Lee, a Korean - Canadian with a background in Mechanical Engineering.
Peter noticed that North American beauty customers were curious about Korean skincare products but were frustrated by Korean only language packaging, confusing multi-step routines and strange ingredients not native to US consumers.
Peter hypothesized correctly that high quality Korean skincare products supported by exceptional customer experience and in-depth storytelling would resonate with more mature US consumers.
