I just received your Advanced Renewal Retinal Serum with 0.1% Retinal + 2% Squalane and your Vegan Retinol Alternative with 2% Bakuchiol.
How should I be using these two serums together?

Great question!
Our new 0.1% retinal is a fantastic product that gives you all the benefits of a retinaldehyde but none of it's drawbacks. It's much more versatile than traditional retinol.
The 2% bakuchiol is our vegan alternative. Studies show that it's as effective as 1% retinol at reducing fine lines and wrinkles. The best thing about bakuchiol is that it's safe for pregnancy, it's not UV sensitive and it's extremely versatile.
A few overarching things to remember about retinal (like all derivatives of retinoic acid)
- Avoid UV light
- It's an inflammatory corrective by nature, so we need to balance out the inflammation with an ant-inflammatory
- Avoid mixing with other correctives in the beginning (our retinal can be stacked together with vitamin C and niacinamide but need to do so slowly)
- Do not use if pregnancy or breast feeding. Vitamin A has been known to effect fetal development.

3. 0.1% retinal ( can stack with 10% niacinamide)

Rule of thumb:
- Lighter to heavier (concentrates, serum to cream),
-Correctives come before anti-inflammatories.
- In the beginning please refrain from stacking the 25% vitamin C, 2% AHA/BHA and/or 0.1% Retinal during the same skincare routine.
